Towing capacity in this tune will remain the same as the vehicle’s factory rated capacity. While not towing the Economy Tune is designed to add 2-3 MPG to the stock vehicle while still increasing the HP and TQ to make your truck more drive-able. Performance: Up to +75HP & +125TQ. The Performance Tune adds substantial power down low and will also improve fuel economy with conservative driving. Your truck will feel much more lively and responsive while using this tune.
Extreme Tune: Up to +120HP & +250TQ. The Extreme Tune is engineered to add extreme power and drive-ability! Axle Ratio. Correct the vehicle speedometer (and fuel efficiency calculations) if you have changed the gear ratio on your vehicle. If no gear ration modifications have been made to the vehicle, then choose the stock setting when the tuner prompts you to choose a gear ratio. This will ensure that no modifications are made to the stock program.
RPM Based Spark. Allows you to Add or Remove Timing by RPM Range. (0-2000)(2000-4000)(4000-8000)
Fan Control. Lowers the Temperature at which the Fan turns on.
Idle Adjust. Enable and select a value for Engine Idle position. This is a great feature for keeping voltage in the vehicle up while running auxiliary electronics off of the vehicle’s power system.

With the SCT X4 Tuner for GM, part number 7416, you can use the tuner as a handheld device, meaning you plug it in to your vehicle's OBD-II port, download the performance tune you want, clear codes, adjust for oversized tires and so forth, then unplug the tuner and stick it in your glove box. The performance tune you selected and downloaded will continue working as expected. If you want to use the SCT X4 7416 as a gauge monitor so you can keep an eye on your ride's temperatures and performance, you can also leave it plugged in all the time, allowing you to view different engine parameters while driving. If you intend to leave it plugged in all the time, consider investing in the optional X4 Window Mount. This will give you a useful and convenient way to view the X4 gauges while driving.
