• The fuel gauge will only work accurately on vans with the J51 fuel gauge (optimized for aux. fuel tap). Please call S&B, send a message with your VIN, or consult with your installer to confirm if your van has J51.
• Please Note: This tank will NOT fit 144" Dually Vans, 170" Crew Vans (1 Row of Seats) or Vans with plumbing/items 24 inches from the rear end of the OEM tank or 19 inches from the rear end of the large cross-member. For those Vans, a shorter 40 gallon tank will work. For 2023+ part  S&B 10-1032. For 2019-2022 part 10-1027.

The S&B Tank comes with all the components to remove your 24 gallon tank and replace it with the 45 gallon tank. The tank mounts in the stock location with an additional rear strap. The tank occupies the space forward and rearward of the original tank and does not stick out anymore toward the driver side than the original tank.

Even with more fuel on board, your fuel gauge will remain accurate thanks to S&B’s tank design. From full to empty you will always know how much fuel is in your tank. The distance to empty however will still be calculated based on the stock fuel capacity. For example, @ 20mpg and a full tank (45 gallons) you will have 940 miles to empty but your vehicle will show you have 480 miles to empty.
