The Aero Exhaust Turbine Series Muffler is the original Aero Exhaust muffler. This performance muffler is the ultimate muffler for performance and fuel mileage increases. The Turbine mufflers have a straight through design without any packing ensuring perfect flow through the patented Turbine cone. The aero turbine is based on jet engine and thermaldynamic technology. The incoming exhaust airstream is rapidly expanded and split via an airfoil cone with an orifice similar to a jet engine. The outer airstream accelerates as it recombines with the inner airstream. The air then begins to spin, due to the velocity and air transfers. The recombining of the airstreams creates a vacuum that both muffles the exhaust sound and increases the exhaust flow. This allows your engine to breath easier and dramatically increases your vehicles performance and economy.
The flow of exhaust through the muffler allows for an increased flow of the exhaust thus allowing for increased performance and higher fuel efficiency for your vehicle's engine.

Resonated Model
The resonated version of the aero turbine muffler allows for the same increase in power and economy with the added benefit of a built in resonator which will help keep the sound levels closer to stock, although the tone will still be throatier than stock.
The aero turbine muffler is the ideal way to add power and increase the economy of any car, truck or SUV, and will even add more power and economy if added to a full performance exhaust.
NOTE: this is a universal muffler, make sure to measure before buying so you know what modifications may need to be made. Overall length of non-resonated version is 20" and resonated version is 26" and the diameter of the body of the muffler is 6". The only exception to this is the 5" versions that are overall length 20" for the non-resonated version and 31" for the resonated version and the diameter of the body of the 5" mufflers is 7.5". .

"It's not often I write these kind of notes... but...I was very skeptical about the claims your website makes... seemed a little too good to be true if you know what I mean... well I've been proven wrong! I had a Magnaflow single axle-back on my car. We replaced it with one of your mufflers... All I can say is wow! The sound is incredible! And the performance is there! We put the car on the dyno and it showed a 7RWHP gain at peek and over a 10RWHP at 5500+ RPM! This is over another high-performance aftermarket muffler! "I have an 05 Dodge Cummins truck with an Edge juice with attitude and an afe air intake, so i wanted to finish of the deal with an exhaust. I asked the guys at parleys and they suggested the areo turbine. I love it. it sound nice, gave a little more HP and better gas mileage, but best is the lower EGT. "I installed a 4040 muffler on my 2000 Ford F-250 (4x4 Crew Cab, Short bed with 55,548.2 miles on it) about 1,000 miles ago and have done some studies in performance/gas milage. I first ran three trips going from 5000 foot elevation to 2200 foot and back, covering 77.2 miles hwy each way and up to 100 miles city driving for an average total of 232 miles for all three trips. All average fuel milage test were done at 70 mph down and 67 mph using cruise control.
The first test comparison was hwy milage for the trip up only at an average mpg 14.3 mpg over 77.2 miles before the muffler and any other changes were made.
I had the 4040 Aero Exhaust muffler with resonator put on at the 2200 foot location. As soon as the muffler was put on, the same trip was logged 17.9 mpg. That is an improvement of 3.6 mpg with only the muffler change or an improvement of 25.17% in fuel milage alone. The truck seamed to drive up the hills easier and never seamed to be pushing the engine to maintain the speed up the hills." Was this review helpful?
