The H&S Black Maxx Tuner is an actual mini-computer designed to plug right into the brain of your Ford 6.7L Powerstroke. Once connected, it allows direct communication and override of many factory default settings from inside your cabin. Read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, recalibrate your ABS system, use large non-stock tires or gearing. The Black Maxx puts you in control of your truck — and updating it is easy. Simply check online for updates, new features & free custom tunes!
Using the Black Maxx interface you can monitor up to 20 parameters in real-time. From Boost Pressure and Barometric Pressure to Fuel Rail Pressure (ICP) and Intake Air Temp. Other Ford 6.7L Powerstroke parameters available to monitor:

A Pyrometer connection is not required for the Black Maxx to work correctly on your 2011-2012 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke It will NOT harm your truck to run without a pyrometer probe installed. H&S has developed two ingenious solutions to the Pyrometer issue created by the engine design of the 6.7L Powerstroke. You can choose to block your EGR system with an H&S EGT Kit (part HAS302202) that allows you to use a factory EGT sensor that was removed from your DPF system. Or, you can delete your EGR hardware entirely with the H&S EGR Delete Kit (part HAS302201). This EGR Delete Kit includes an EGT mounting solution in the manifold block off plate. Simply use your EGT sensor from your removed DPF.
