The Turbine mufflers have a straight-through design without any packing or moisture collecting material ensuring perfect flow through the patented Turbine cone. The Aero Turbine is based on jet engine and thermal-dynamic technology. The incoming exhaust airstream is rapidly expanded and split via an airfoil cone with an orifice similar to a jet engine. The outer airstream accelerates as it recombines with the inner airstream. The air then begins to spin, due to the velocity and air transfers. The recombining of the airstream creates a vacuum that both muffles the exhaust sound and increases the exhaust flow. Resonated Model – Designated XL vs. Non-Resonated

The resonated version of the Aero Turbine Muffler allows for the same increase in power and economy with the added benefit of a built in resonator which will help keep the sound levels closer to stock, although the tone will still be throatier than stock. A built in resonator before Aero’s patented Air Foil is packed with high temperature ceramic packing. The Aero Turbine Muffler is the ideal way to add power and increase the economy of any car, truck or SUV — and will even add more power & economy when used with a full performance exhaust system.

The Aero Turbine Series 2540i comes with an angle-cut rolled tip. The 2540i was designed for any standard diesel or gas vehicle with an end muffler. This is the ideal Honda Civic muffler, but will also fit any vehicle with an end mounted muffler.

The 2540i is the most widely used model of performance exhaust Aero manufactures for Sports Cars, Hotrods, and Sport Compact Cars.
