Aside from being more durable than stock, the Mishimoto 6.7L Powerstroke intercooler also flows better. Flow bench testing showed that the Mishimoto intercooler flowed 22% better than the stock cooler. On the dyno, that extra flow provided a stock 6.7L with 40 lb-ft more torque. Included with this intercooler are silicone boots with DuraCore technology and Mishimoto’s signature Constant Tension T-bolt Clamps for consistent and reliable holding power. Mishimoto DuraCore technology is the synthetic material that comprises the innermost layer of all Mishimoto silicone diesel boots. Compared to normal silicone, DuraCore provides superior resistance to heat, pressure, fuel and oil. This effectively increases the life of the boots by preventing leaks and blow-outs. The Mishimoto 6.7L Powerstroke intercooler is offered in black, blue or silver, and like all Mishimoto Powerstroke performance parts, comes with the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
