Banks Derringer has Adaptive Tuning. Engine conditions change constantly, so the Derringer tuning changes constantly too, making up to 250 adjustments per second. This ensures your engine is always getting the best information for the specific circumstances it's operating in right at that instant. You'll know your tuning is optimized based on current exhaust gas temperature, coolant temperature, DPF regen status, transmission temperature, the accelerator pedal and torque converter clutch - it even adapts it's tuning based on your current altitude.
For power and performance that doesn't compromise on engine and driver safety, the Derringer Tuner is unmatched in the industry. Armed with Banks proprietary and patented ActiveSafety Watchdog, the Derringer is able to monitor itself to protect you in the event that something goes wrong with your vehicle, or if there is a loss of 12V power. The ActiveSafety feature runs 100 checks per second. If anything goes wrong, the Derringer will bypass itself automatically and instantly revert the vehicle back to stock power. You'll keep full driveability and regular power levels - no need to worry about any limp modes or loss of power.
