After Banks’ engineers carefully studied the stock intercoolers for the 1999.5(late)-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke, they decided to upgrade everything for superior results. While the stock intercooler has plastic end tanks, the Techni-Cooler steps-up with two durable, all-aluminum end tanks, that will never melt or burst under high-boost conditions.
