Andersen Hitches 3221TBX Ultimate Connection Lowered Flatbed Mount Toolbox Version 5th Wheel Hitch

Important Notes: This unit is 4” lower than the standard Ultimate Connection Gooseneck Mount, part 3220, and is intended to be used with flatbed trucks that have a RECESSED gooseneck ball AND a large fuel tank or toolbox in the bed. If you have a large fuel tank or toolbox but your gooseneck ball is not recessed, please see part #3220TBX. Using a 3221 or 3221TBX base in a truck bed that has sidewalls may cause damage to the truck or hitch! Please call us if you have any questions. When you place your order please add a note providing us with a measurement with the distance from the top of the flatbed deck down to the top of the gooseneck ball. Also, because these have to be paired up with specific couple tubes, they take an extra day or two to ship out.

The Andersen Ultimate Hitch has been SAE tested. During this thorough and strenous testing, the new Ultimate Connection Gen 3 passed nine tests. These included static tests of force against the hitch in six different directions, and three dynamic tests with 300,000 cycles each. The same hitch was used for all the SAE tests and passed each test with flying colors.

Notes: Using any Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection with a Rota-Flex Pin Box requires an Andersen Rota-Flex Lockout Kit. Also, If you have a MORryde Pin Box, this is compatible with all versions of the Ultimate Connection ONLY when it is installed with MORryde part # RPB77-006.
