Extensive dyno-testing throughout the development of this intake kit ensures that it makes the most Horsepower possible. Testing this intake on a stock 2023 CT5-V Blackwing gained 20 HP & 25 LB-FT. This test was with our stock tune intake. Better gains will come from the included 5” intake that requires a tune. JLT includes a tube that will work with a stock tune & large 5” intake tube that requires a custom tune. Three different couplers are included. (No tune intake -> factory TB, 5” Intake -> factory TB, & 5” intake to 103mm TB). The JLT airbox isolates power-robbing engine heat by sealing to the stock hood scoop, using all the available air inlet locations. The box and tube's crosslink polyethylene material keeps the air cool as it flows to the engine. JLT intake tubes do not pancake before the throttle body. The OEM does this for fan shroud clearance. The JLT intake tube was able to go above the shroud.
