Product Description:
For those looking for big power, PPE is delivering with the HOT +2 Xcelerator. The HOT +2 version is specifically designed for 2001 through early 2004 Duramax Diesel trucks, and provides speedometer corrections (for tire sizes ranging from 25" to 44.75" 1/4" increments, and/or gear changes from 2.23 to 5.13), governor removals, and four levels of performance. In the highest setting you will see an additional 350HP and 530ft-lbs of torque at the flywheel. The HOT +2 Xcelerator was designed for the true performance enthusiasts who want the best the market has to offer. No other programmer does so much, for so little. This unit is great for drag racing, off-road, sled pulling and more.
The HOT +2 version will raise the rev limiter to 4,500 rpm, and will remove the speed limiter. This unit also retains the stock program so that the truck can be put back to the original settings if the need arises. The Xcelerator increases the efficiency of the vehicle, which increases fuel mileage (2-3mpg on average). It also defuels for upshifts and down shifts in order to allow transmission to engage into next gear without the need for extreme transmission modifications.
In addition to being an all-star in the world of performance, the Xcelerator is also capable of reading and clearing Data Trouble Codes (DTC) through the OBD II port. Xcelerator can reset the Allison transmission for Fast Learn operation to begin.
The E.T. Eliminator's will decrease elapsed time during acceleration. This program does not defuel during shifts, therefore providing 100% power during wide open throttle shifts.

Program levels 1 thru 6 HOT +2 will remove fuel (defule) from engine during shifts as needed to keep an un-modified transmission from slipping.
For trucks running tunes above level 4 a transmission upgrade is recommended.
