For big power, PPE developed the LLY HOT Xcelerator. This unit is designed to work with the 2004 and newer Duramax Diesel trucks with the LLY engine. LLY engine is designated by a 2 on the eighth digit of the VIN.

Features of the HOT LLY Xcelerator include up to an additional 240hp and 390ft.-lbs of torque, speedometer corrections (for tire sizes ranging from 25" to 44.75" in 1/4" increments, and/or gear changes from 2.23 to 5.13), governor removals, and four levels of performance.

The Horsepower and torque levels are as follows:

Level I 60HP and 120Torque
Level II 90HP and 180Torque
Level III 130HP and 260Torque
Level IV 240HP and 390Torque

Program levels 1 thru 4 will remove fuel (defuel) from engine during shifts as needed to keep an un-modified transmission from slipping.

In addition, the HOT LLY Xcelerator raises the rev limiter to 3,800RPM. This unit also retains the stock program so that the truck can be put back to the original settings if the need arises. The Xcelerator increases the efficiency of the vehicle, which increases fuel mileage (2-3mpg on average). It also defuels for upshifts and down shifts in order to allow transmission to engage into next gear without the need for extreme transmission modifications.

In addition to being an all-star in the world of performance, the Xcelerator is also capable of reading and clearing Data Trouble Codes (DTC) through the OBD II port. Xcelerator can reset the Allison transmission for "Fast Learn" operation to begin.

In order to insure that you are getting the best product available, we have tested this product off-road, in the desert, the 1/4 mile drag strip, the Rocky Mountains , and in the dyno room.
