The H&S Mini Maxx Tuner is an actual mini-computer designed to plug right into the brain of your 6.6L Duramax. Once connected, it allows direct communication and override of many factory default settings from inside your cabin. Read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, recalibrate your speedometer or your ABS system, use large non-stock tires or gearing. The Mini Maxx puts you in control of your truck — and updating it is easy. Simply check online for updates, new features & free custom tunes!
Using the Mini Maxx interface you can monitor up to 20 parameters in real-time. From Torque Converter Lock Status(Auto) to Fuel Rail Pressure (ICP) and Intake Air Temperature. Other Chevy/GMC 6.6L Duramax LMM parameters available to monitor include:

6.6L Duramax LML Mini Maxx Specific Notes
- Power levels are NOT shift-on-the-fly. It may take up to 10 minutes to change tunes. Check here for software updates. This also means the Mini Maxx will NOT defuel on its own. A built in warning showing “WARNING PYRO 1” or similar where it would normally defuel.
- The EGR and UREA main harness must be unplugged, while the DPF Pressure Sensor must remain plugged-in to gain full horsepower when running in DPF Removed mode. Instructions for these requirements can be found here:
- Periodic emissions checks are performed by the truck’s PCM. While doing so the dash may display “Service exhaust fluid, see owners manual” if the the vehicle has recently been reflashed or has not been run in a while. This message will clear itself as soon as the emissions check is complete and can be ignored. Check here for software updates.
- Tire size is NOT yet adjustable. H&S is working on an update to add this in a future software release. Check here for updates to this issue.
- The Speed Limiter is allowed to be removed but will cause loss of cruise control functionality. The Speed Limiter is capped at 96mph. Until an update for this issue is available, the choice to go over 96mph or to use the cruise control is yours to make.
- Exhaust kits right now are ONLY available in CAT back kits. This is due to the extreme embedded nature of the down-pipe. For those who have a shop or the ability to cut, modify, & weld to get to this area, the LMM Downpipe Kit can be modified and used.

Please Note: The H&S Performance Mini Maxx is capable of disabling all or part of the emissions control systems on your diesel truck, if you choose to do so. Emissions removal is not legal in the USA, unless the vehicle is not registered with the DMV, and is being used solely as a competition race vehicle. Its use is limited to closed-course racing that is formally sanctioned by a recognized racing organization. Any other use, including recreational off-road use, could be in violation of local, state and federal laws. This is a Race Only product used solely for competition.
