The H&S Mini Maxx Tuner is an actual mini-computer designed to plug right into the brain of your Dodge 6.7L Cummins. Once connected, it allows direct communication and override of many factory default settings from inside your cabin. Read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, recalibrate your speedometer or your ABS system, use large non-stock tires or gearing. The Mini Maxx puts you in control of your truck — and updating it is easy. Simply check online for updates, new features & free custom tunes!
Using the Mini Maxx interface you can monitor up to 20 parameters in real-time. From TC Lock Status(Auto) and Barometric Pressure to Fuel Rail Pressure (ICP) and Intake Air Temp. Other Dodge 6.7L Cummins parameters available to monitor:

The H&S Mini Maxx Tuner comes with many special features only for Dodge 6.7 Cummins owners. From simple things, like enabling/disabling the horn chirp or flashing lights when using the keyless entry system — to more racing specific features like enabling/disabling the seat belt audio/visual reminders and the daytime running lights. Here is a list of the other Dodge specific features the Mini Maxx Tuner puts you in control of:
- Enable/Disable:
- Idle Up – the high-idle feature.
- Auto Door Lock – at certain speeds.
- Head Lamp Delay – after leaving the vehicle.
- Unlock Driver Door – when using the keyless entry.
- Accessory Delay – set the time delay your radio and other accessories will stay on after the key is turned off.
- Fogs with Highs – decide whether the fog lights stay on when the high beams are used.

The Pyrometer connection is NOT necessary for the Mini Maxx to function correctly. It is used for gauge display and for one of the defueling parameters. It will NOT harm your truck to run without a pyrometer probe installed. H&S Performance does, of course, recommend purchasing one for the 6.7L Cummins so you can monitor your Exhaust gas temperatures and set your defuel levels based on EGTs.

Black Maxx compared to the Mini Maxx
Note that the use of the H&S Mini Maxx Tuner in higher performance modes raises the fuel rail pressure. This extra pressure may cause the fuel rail release valve in your truck to open, causing trouble codes P0087 and P1011. H&S recommends the use of either a Fuel Rail Shim Kit, to prevent the valve from opening, or a Fuel Rail Plug(FRP), which simply replaces the valve altogether. Both options allow ample pressure to the rail and injectors, without the worry of losing valuable rail pressure or bothersome trouble codes.
