If you’ve wanted a smart and economical way to improve the overall performance of your 6.0L Ford Powerstroke this CFM+ LargeMouth Intake Manifold System is the way to do it. It offers more than a 40% increase in air flow over your current stock intake manifold. The opening on this model is a large 3.5" diameter which means more air, and more air means more power, better fuel economy, better throttle response and lower exhaust gas temperatures.

This LargeMouth Intake Manifold requires that you already have a 3.5" diameter intercooler pipe on your diesel engine. If you still have a stock intercooler pipe, then you’ll want to order the complete LargeMouth Intake Manifold Kit which comes with a bent steel pipe with a 3.5" outlet and 3" inlet to connect to your stock 3.0" intercooler.

This CFM+ LargeMouth Intake Manifold for the 6.0L Powerstroke has 3 ports which HAVE been pre-drilled, tapped and plugs installed. It comes with an installation manual and all required hardware for mounting.

Note for 2004 Powerstrokes: This modification is considered an “off-road-only” modification on 2004 models. The 2003 model was built with an inert spacer between the intake manifold and the engine; there may be wires running to that spacer, but they are not live (hence, it can be removed without any problems). In the 2004 model, an active butterfly valve was placed within that spacer for exhaust gas recirculation purposes. While that spacer with the butterfly valve can be removed on the ’04 model, if you do so, you are modifying your EGR system and thereby possibly circumventing state or federal rules regarding emissions. Hence, for the 2004 model, 6.0L CFM+ intakes can only be used for off-road purposes. If you do choose to install this part for off-road use only, removing the spacer and butterfly valve will cause your truck to throw a cell. However, in most cases, it will not turn on your check-engine light. The entire spacer, including the butterfly valve, was removed beginning with the 2005 models and was not present on the 2006 or 2007 models. Since there is no spacer to remove, this intake manifold will bolt right onto your 2005 – 2007 model for a quick and easy installation.
