Just like the Original AirDog, the AirDog II efficiently removes air and vapor from your diesel fuel improving overall engine reliability and performance! The AirDog II also provides the proper pressure and flow of fuel to your diesel engine under virtually all operating conditions for peak efficiency with consistent and maximum power output!

In addition to all the great original features, the AirDog II now incorporates Pureflow’s new Demand Flow system with a built in adjustable pressure regulator. Whatever your application, a simple adjustment to the regulator gives you the desired fuel pressure and flow into your injection pump and engine. The AirDog II is easy to install too – it mounts to your truck frame so no drilling is required! It comes with a super quiet and efficient Dual Feed Gerotor Pump. On Ford Powerstrokes the AirDog II actually replaces the OE Lift Pump. The Fuel Preporator comes with the special fittings needed for quick and easy installation on your Duramax too.

The AirDog II comes with a high flow fuel module upgrade kit which converts your stock fuel module into a high flow system! Airdog II Demand Flow Technology draws fuel straight from the module! Never worry about quarter tank fuel problems or drilling holes in your fuel tank to install an aftermarket draw straw again!

The AirDog® II is designed to operate at flows and pressures beyond the maximum requirements of the engine. Want to maximize the bang for your buck with that performance module or programmer you just bought? Get an AirDog II and give your diesel the clean fuel it needs!

The AirDog II receives fuel under vacuum from the fuel tank containing entrained air/vapor, particulate contaminates and unknown quantities of water. The fuel passes through the water separator which removes the large particulate contaminates that could damage or jam the gerotor fuel pump. The fuel, with only entrained air/vapor and tiny particulate contaminates remaining enters the fuel pump.

The fuel, under positive pressure flow, enters the fuel filter. As the fuel passes through the filter media and the remaining particulate contaminates are caught and contained, the entrained air/vapor is also separated. Through the positive fuel air fuel separation features of the patented Fuel Preporator® the separated air/vapor is discharged from the filter and back to the fuel tank through the Primary Air/Vapor Discharge Port.

The fuel passing through the filter media, free of contaminates and power robbing air and vapor, and at pressures and flows always able to meet the needs of the engine, exits the fuel filter through two passageways. First, the fuel for the engine passes into the fuel pickup tube and on to the engine. Then, the excess fuel not needed by the engine recycles internally through the pressure regulator back to the water separator.

Your High Performance diesel engine demands higher fuel flows. Yet higher fuel flows increase the vacuum at the fuel pump and agitation in the fuel tank. These factors generate additional air/vapor in the fuel system preventing your engine from producing maximum power and efficiency. Additionally, air/vapor can cause galling and pitting of the injector barrel/plunger assembly as well as tip erosion.

To understand how much of a difference the AirDog II can make, below we have two pictures to illustrate an injector nozzle spray pattern without an AirDog and with an AirDog. First, the BEFORE spray pattern picture on the left shows graphically the effect of air and vapor in delaying the pressure buildup.
