For a great value and easy installation the AFE STAGE 1 Cold Air Intake System adds instant horsepower and torque. Huge, high-flow conical air filters in three different filter media are the first step to increased airflow to the engine. Powder-coated steel heat shields or durable molded plastic air boxes keep hot air out and keep fresh, cool air flowing to the filter.

A STAGE 1 AFE Cold Air Intake System has an air filter element which is exposed or only partially covered. It comes with a one-piece heat shield or air box and uses the stock intake tract. Installation time is 30-60 minutes and requires removal of the stock air box. No cutting or drilling is required!

The improvement in air flow and air temperature of the Stage 1 intake leads to average horsepower gains of 1-10 horsepower and 10-20 lbs. x ft. of torque. The sound difference is noticeable and makes for a nice improvement in engine noise.

aFe OE replacement filters are warranted against manufacturer defects for as long as you own the vehicle and it is properly maintained using our filter cleaning kit. Our universal clamp on air filters and air intake kits are warranted against manufacturer defects for 2 years. Our racing filters are warranted against manufacturer defects for 1 year. All warranty is contingent on proper installation and proper maintenance using our restore kit. All other aFe products such as our exhaust systems, intake manifolds and intercoolers have a 2-year warranty.
