The Turbine mufflers have a straight-through design without any packing or moisture collecting material ensuring perfect flow through the patented Turbine cone. Resonated Model – Designated XL
The resonated version of the aero turbine muffler allows for the same increase in power and economy with the added benefit of a built in resonator which will help keep the sound levels closer to stock, although the tone will still be throatier than stock. A built in resonator before our patented Air Foil is packed with high temperature ceramic packing. “I installed a 4040XL muffler on my 2000 Ford F-250 (4×4 Crew Cab, Short bed with 55,548.2 miles on it) about 1,000 miles ago and have done some studies in performance/gas mileage. I first ran three trips going from 5000 foot elevation to 2200 foot and back, covering 77.2 miles hwy each way and up to 100 miles city driving for an average total of 232 miles for all three trips. All average fuel mileage test were done at 70 mph down and 67 mph using cruise control.
The first test comparison was hwy mileage for the trip up only at an average mpg 14.3 mpg over 77.2 miles before the muffler and any other changes were made.
I had the 4040 Aero Exhaust muffler with resonator put on at the 2200 foot location. As soon as the muffler was put on, the same trip was logged 17.9 mpg. That is an improvement of 3.6 mpg with only the muffler change or an improvement of 25.17% in fuel mileage alone. The truck seamed to drive up the hills easier and never seamed to be pushing the engine to maintain the speed up the hills."

After receiving the Aero Exhaust muffler, I took my truck up a local canyon to test it in its present condition. The truck, a Ford 350 Power Stroke, has a 4" exhaust and an ATS flip chip. I made three runs up Parleys at different speeds and recorded the pyrometer reading, the boost, rpm and speed. I used the cruise control to keep everything as even as possible, and kept the chip in the middle setting. The next day the Aero Exhaust was installed and that evening I did the same thing and made three passes up the same canyon. The outside temp was within three degrees of being the same-actually warmer the second night. All three passes using the same speeds and rpm showed approximately 150 degrees lower temps and about one pound more boost. So this is great news…the temperature drop is awesome.

I’ve installed an Aero Exhaust Turbine 4040 on my 2004.5 Dodge CTD 600 and I love it. The sound is excellent, throttle response is improved, the turbo spools up much quicker now. The quality of construction is the best. I’ve run several other types of mufflers over the years, no comparison to this one. This is my first Aero Exhaust and from now on I will be putting one on each and every time I do any exhaust mod’s in the future.

Just wanted to comment on the Aero Exhaust 4040. I have a 1999 ford f350 crew cab dually 4×4 with a 6 speed and a 7.3 powerstroke diesel. I recently installed the Aero Exhaust 4040 along with 5 inch chrome exhaust stacks. I have to say that this is the best sounding diesel pick up that I have ever heard! Very throaty sound, instead of just a rattleing sick sound. The muffler eliminated my drone and flutter. With a 140 hp chip I never see much more than 1000 degrees on my pyro compared to other guys bumping 1300 degrees. I think this is a very well built and high quality product that I recommend for any diesel owner , especially if they are doing performance modifications. Great product I am glad I spent the money for this product!

I never do this but I had to drop you a line. Just installed the 4040 in my 2003 GMC Crew Cab 6.6 Duramax pickup. The sound is sweet. Even the installers were impressed. I’m already seeing an increase in fuel efficiency. Am taking a long trip in June-July and will let you know how it did after being broken in. In the meantime, I sit here in the middle of Flowmaster country and wonder whether you have a decal I can put on my truck so these rednecks know what blew them away when I go by.

After receiving the OK, I had the muffler installed on my patrol vehicle. I have to admit that after seeing the muffler, I was concerned about the noise level. I received my 30-30 muffler last Friday the 16th of Apr. I took it to a local Muffler shop yesterday the 17th, I couldn’t wait to get it installed. The installer had never seen anything like this muffler and repeatedly asked me if I knew just how loud it was going to be. I assured him that it would be alright (he just smiled). Oh this 30-30 went on an 04 Dodge reg cab short box 5.7 hemi. When he finished the instillation he said that he had to see just how loud it was. The look on his face was priceless, he got out and said how in the -- did they do that? Needless to say so far I am very happy. I am anxious to see what improvements I see with performance and gas mileage.

I just bought a 2540 and installed it on my 2003 Honda Civic EX with 1.7L VTEC engine. On my first tank of gas my mileage has increased from 33 mpg to 37 mpg. My car sounds much better, and while it’s louder between 2800-3000 RPM (which I like), it’s more quiet at all other RPMs. It seems to accelerate a little easier, but it’s hard to tell just yet how much the power has increased. But it’s doing what I bought it for, better gas mileage, much better gas mileage. I’ll let you know how it works after 600-800 miles with it. Even the Honda tuner who installed it for me was very impressed with the build quality and the sound it makes. Also, it was recommended to me to disconnect my battery for an hour or so to let the computer reset so that the computer will learn faster than if I don’t disconnect it and it has to re-learn the new air flow. I’ll try this over the weekend and let you know if there’s a difference.

I just wanted to thank you for the fast shipping on the 2525 I ordered from you guys. I have had it on a couple of weeks 95 Bronco 302 117,000 before I was lucky to see 11.5 mpg (heavy foot) mixed driving. I am now averaging 14.5 and would probably get more but it sounds so good especially in the power band 2200rpm+ I think I added some more weight to my right foot. I have also noticed more power and this Bronco is fun to drive again. It has done everything you claimed and then some. If I would get another vehicle I will be calling. I have a 1999 Honda Accord LX with a V6 with the dual exhausts. My brother told me that I could get better performance if I replaced the mufflers with the Aero Exhaust ones. They are awesome! My car is sooooo much faster it is scary. I raced a mustang the other day and kicked his but. I have had about fifty guys ask me where I got those awesome sounding mufflers.
